Take advantage of these quick and easy home remedies. Why spend time and money searching out natural, skin benefiting ingredients, when you probably have them on hand in your home? After many years of keeping my skin glowing I have always known about one tip that always works, and now you can also.
OATMEAL
Legendary beautiful women have always known that nothing exfoliates better than oatmeal. Forget pricey alpha hydroxy acids. You can use a paste of strawberry, lemon, or orange, anything with a low pH. Try some of the following tips. You'll love the superior feeling and results.
AGE SPOTS:
To erase age spots, hold a Lemon half directly on the age spot for 10 minutes. If your arms get tired, rest your elbow on a table while applying the lemon. Rinse off with warm water.
Brown Spots & Discoloration Lightener:
Mix 2 tablespoons of lemon juice with one packet of raw sugar. Rub on spots with an old toothbrush. Leave on for 15 minutes before rinsing.
Blackhead Remover:
Combine 1/4 cup of boiling water with one teaspoon Epsom Salt and 3 drops of iodine. Let mixture cool until it's comfortable to the touch. Saturate a cotton ball with mixture and dab on blackheads. This will allow them to loosen so they can be easily squeezed with a gauze pad.
Dry, Sensitive Skin Treatments:
Warm 1/4 cup of olive oil in your microwave. Make sure it's comfortable to the touch, and massage into skin. Wipe off with a cotton towel.
Enlarged Pore Tightener:
Cut half of a cucumber into slices and soak in 1/4 cup of rose water and one teaspoon witch hazel. Refrigerate. Slide over skin after cleansing. This will reduce the appearance of the pores and tighten the skin. Refrigerate the leftover solution for up on one week.
Flaky Skin:
Massage a small amount of honey all over your face. Let set about 10 minutes. Remove with a cotton ball dipped in grapefruit juice. Leave on 5 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
These tips really work for our family, and will for yours also.
